Getting a press release written is really easy. You don’t even need a good idea!

Sending out a well-written, professional press release is the number one way to promote your business.

Press Release PackageA press release is a document you send to the media suggesting a story about yourself.

Every newsroom receives hundreds each week – so you need to make sure yours stands out and catches the journalists’ attention.

If they think your story will be of interest to their audience they will write about you, reaching thousands of readers and listeners around the UK.

Compared to straight advertising, this is a highly credible way to promote your business. When you advertise, it is you talking about your business. When a journalist writes about you, it is an independent person pushing your business.

Publicity Heaven will write a professional press release and distribute it to relevant media titles anywhere in the UK.

How it works

Using the Publicity Heaven 5 Step Publicity Process, a great story about your business will be put together and presented to journalists that are likely to be interested.

Step 1: Tell us about you

In a short telephone interview, you tell us all about your business and what you want to promote. The best publicity is there to support a specific goal. Do you want to raise awareness of your brand? Drive traffic to your website? What kind of media do you want to be featured in – local papers and radio; trade magazines; websites; or something else entirely? Whatever your goal is, it will heavily influence the publicity that is put together for you. Give as much information as you can – you never know what’s going to trigger a great idea.

Step 2: Story suggestions

My writing team will brainstorm a series of story suggestions, which will be given to you within two working days. Each idea will be fully explained. And if you don’t like them, no problems, you can just ask for some more! Remember, it’s not down to you to come up with the ideas. That’s the job of the writing team. Based on experience, they know what journalists want and don’t want.

Step 3: Write the press release

The press release is your main weapon in presenting stories to journalists. You’ll get one written in the format preferred by most UK newsrooms. It will fully explain the story to the journalist, plus tell them how to contact someone for more information, and who is willing to be interviewed.

Step 4: Final fact check

Just before the press release is sent out, there will be a spelling, grammar and fact check. Then you give your final OK. At all times, you retain 100% control over communications from your business.

Step 5: Distribution

Your release will be distributed electronically, direct to the inboxes of the media identified in step one. You will get a copy of your press release to put on your website, which is great for SEO (search engine optimisation). Plus you’ll receive an Excel sheet containing the names of all the media titles your release has been sent to.

Plus you get a free Press Release Handbook to ensure you make the most of your release

Press Release HandbookTo help you make the most of your press release, you’ll get our Press Release Handbook totally free. It’s exclusive to Publicity Heaven and has been personally written by our founder Paul Green ACIPR, based on his 13 year media career and several years in PR.

It will show you how to track your media coverage, get the most from your PR activity, and prepare for journalist interviews.

While it is Publicity Heaven’s job is to make your press release as appealing as possible to journalists, remember there’s no guarantee any press release will get publicity.

That’s why publicity is such a powerful marketing tool – because you can’t buy it.

“I originally came across Publicity Heaven via a recommendation a year ago and without doubt it’s the best recommendation that I’ve ever received. We’ve now hired the services of Publicity Heaven twice, with the results being absolutely fantastic each time. The whole process, from drafting the press releases to distribution, was completely hassle-free. All questions were also answered promptly and you’re kept informed the whole time.

Each time we’ve received incredible press coverage, ranging from national newspapers, to local newspapers and radio stations. In fact, the response was so good that at times I struggled to find the time to fit in all the interview requests from the media!

I’ll certainly be using Publicity Heaven for all our PR activities in the future and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to raise their profile in the media.”
