Earthquake is a chance to shake up your PR

The earthquake woke me just before 1am. And set my mind buzzing about which of our clients could issue a reaction press release this morning.

The two angles which immediately spring to mind are fear of loss and fun.

Fear of loss: What could have happened if the earthquake had been worse?

Fun: How is your business celebrating this morning? Is your cafe serving special quake burgers for one day only? Can your online store get “I survived the quake” t-shirts on sale right now?

Whatever you do, speed is of the essence. The earthquake won’t be a story tomorrow.
