About Paul Green

Paul Green
Direct Response PR expert and published author Paul Green will help you get free publicity in the mainstream media, then turn it into leads, sales and profits, with Direct Response PR.
He was a journalist and radio presenter for 13 years making him a true media insider.
Now with his business Publicity Heaven he helps business owners attract publicity and use it to grow their business.
Paul is a founder member of the National Association of Business Owners (NABO) and the association’s spokesman for the media. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
In summer 2009 his first book “PR Success Made Easy” was published, and he has made a number of media appearances advising business owners on marketing.
Biography
36-year-old Paul started his career aged 18, doing telesales (badly) at the Banbury Cake newspaper in Oxfordshire. Then he joined the Daventry Express in Northamptonshire and trained to be a newspaper reporter.
In 1996 he kicked off a long radio career in GWR Group (now Global Radio), working for several stations including Northants 96 in Northampton, Mercia FM in Coventry, Horizon Radio in Milton Keynes, Hereward FM in Peterborough and Q103 in Cambridge. Paul started as a newsreader and presenter and finished as regional programme controller, responsible for on-air output.
Finally, Paul worked as group editorial content manager for the digital publishing arm of newspaper giant Johnston Press before setting up Publicity Heaven and becoming a PR expert.
He is now an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
Paul was born in Solihull and now lives in Northamptonshire with his wife, daughter, and two cats The Hoff and Purdey.
He doesn’t do sport – in any way – but loves photography and movies… and annoying the neighbours with his drum kit.

During her time at Ogilvy, Lindsay directed successful healthcare PR campaigns for some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies and well-known brands. One of these campaigns, a UK vaccines awareness campaign, was shortlisted for two major PR industry awards, the European SABRE Awards and the UK’s PR Week Awards.
In 2009 Lindsay decided to go freelance in search of the ever-elusive work-life balance. She now consults with Publicity Heaven on high level PR strategies for clients, as well as taking on the overworked and underpaid roles of housewife and mother.
